I pretty much hate this place. But at the same time I look forward to the days that I work at the market. Why? You might ask.
Reasons I hate working the market:
- There is never any customers and I sit around and do nothing all day.
Reasons why I love working the market:
-There is never any customers and I sit around and do nothing all day.
So you see, it's very hard to decide whether or not I should get excited about working here or not. However I do get to people watch.... And the odd thing is, I've come to notice that everywhere is the same just different people and such.
I've noticed that society is like a very basic computer mainframe. Picture a city from a sky view. It's like a grid, a bunch of squares with things in them. But there are also programs. That's where it gets weird, because we are the programs. Yes there are plenty of different people, each one of them unique in their own way, but at the same time having something in common with other people. We all have our role in making the societal computer keep running. Take construction workers for example. Every city has them, they are essential. They could be compared to a anti-virus software. Say there's a bad road, or an old run down building that is negatively effecting the city. Construction crews (the anti-virus) come in and tear that shit down, and replace it with something better.
Now take traffic. Traffic is the ultimate program in society. We're all so malleable. Once again, picture a computer mother board, and compare it to the grid of a city. Cars are like the electricity running through the circuit boards. And it's all controlled by lights. When a light turns green the circuit is complete and traffic is free to flow in the direction it needs to go. When the light turns red, it's focusing the flow to a different area where it's needed.
And now, above all this, I've come to realize how very much like a program the human body is itself. It was the anti-virus allusion that did this for me. When we ingest something that is no good for us our body sends in white blood cells that are all like "Get the fuck out or I'll destroy you!" And for the most part it works. But then there are some intricately made viruses that can't be defeated by the anti-virus software, resulting in your computer needing to be replaced, if you know what I mean.
I feel like I've provided you with enough food for thought today. Stay tuned for the next dose of Mental Diarrhea.
